Job Summary:

The Ready Mix Concrete Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the ready mix concrete segment. This role involves strategic planning, customer outreach, pricing strategy, and close coordination with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sales in alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and quality control to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service.
  • Generate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management review.
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of sales experience in the construction or ready mix concrete industry.
  • Strong understanding of concrete products, construction industry practices, and sales techniques.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Attributes

  • Technical knowledge of concrete mix designs and applications.
  • Existing network in the construction or real estate industry.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
